It's been a minute - here's what happened

Same technology, different industry. BLCK UNICRN is now in safety-critical environments where decisions cost lives.

Hi -

Long time. I owe you an update.

When you joined this list, BLCK UNICRN was building the operating system for immersive entertainment - Reality Show, LA Tech Week activations, virtual concerts, that whole world. I haven't sent anything since December, and the reason is complicated but worth sharing.

Over the past few months I pivoted the company. The underlying tech we were building - AI that puts humans into branching decision moments and measures what they actually do - turned out to matter more to industrial safety leaders than to entertainment audiences. So BLCK UNICRN is now AI safety simulations for industrial EHS teams. Biotech sites, aerospace manufacturers, energy companies. Same core technology, completely different vertical.

Three asks, in order of importance:

  1. If you know anyone leading safety, EHS, or operational excellence at an industrial company - I'd love an intro.

  2. If you want to keep hearing from me as we build this, no action needed. I'll send occasional updates from here as we hit real milestones.
